Most of you know that my husband is an avid hunter. I love to go along when he goes hunting too.
I've been saying for the last couple of years that I wanted to shoot something too. I haven't been able to shoot with T
homas's guns because they are all too heavy or too long.
I'm pretty much a wuss when it comes to upper arm strength.
I'm talking, I usually need help to hold and drain a big pot of pasta. I have zero
strength in my wrists. So, a couple of months ago, while wandering around in Gander Mountain, we ran across a used youth shotgun on clearance.
Thomas bought it for me. A couple of weekends ago, we took it out so i could practice shooting. Pretty much,
I'm not good at shooting clays. I didn't hit even one of them!!
Thomas on the other hand didn't even miss. I was so scared to pull the trigger the first time.
I've shot guns before, but its been awhile. I was scared that it was going to really hurt my shoulder. Which it did by the way, I had a major bruise. Anyway, here's a couple of pictures.
